HD-CVI 720p HD Resolution
HD-CVI stands for High Definition Composite Video Interface. This is a new technology that provides a low cost method of transmitting quality video signals. CVI breaks the resolution limits of the CCTV technology and allows for mid-range high definition video to be transmitted over coax cable.
This camera is equipped with an extreme long range zoom lens; 5-50mm. The chart below shows the viewing distance zoomed to 25mm is 43 feet horizontal at 300 feet. Zoomed to 50mm the horizontal viewing distance would be approximately 22 feet. The manual zoom lens allows you to mount the camera and then, using the zoom knob on the camera, adjust or “zoom” the viewing area in or out until you get the perfect view.
This camera is equipped with Infrared LED’s. The LED’s cast out infrared light the human eye cannot see, but the camera can. During the day the camera produces vivid color video, when the light level drops below a minimum point the camera automatically switches the IR system on. The camera then produces very high quality black and white night vision video.
