HD-CVI stands for High Definition Composite Video Interface. This is a new technology that provides a low cost method of transmitting quality video signals. CVI breaks the resolution limits of the CCTV technology and allows for HD high definition video to be transmitted over coax cable.
This camera is equipped with a motorized zoom 2.8-12mm lens. The zoom lens allows you to adjust the cameras view with controls located in the DVR's software. The green lens chart below indicates viewing distances associated with this lens.
This camera is equipped with Infrared LED’s. The LED’s cast out infrared light the human eye cannot see, but the camera can. During the day the camera produces vivid color video, when the light level drops below a minimum point the camera automatically switches the IR system on. The camera then produces very high quality black and white night vision video.

Simple as 1-2-3#1. Pull a video-power cable from the DVR to each of the camera locations.
#2. Plug the video and power pigtails from the camera into the video-power cable. Mount the Camera.
#3. Plug the video cable pigtail into the DVR and the power wire pigtail into the power supply.
