Attention: CVI cameras use coax cable to transmit the video signal but the signal is digital and will NOT work with analog CCTV video recorders. CVI cameras only work with video recorders design to support the CVI technology.

DNR – Digital Noise Reduction
Our CVI 1080p cameras are equipped with “Digital Noise Reduction" technology. This allows the camera to produce high performance crystal clear images in poor lighting conditions. The DNR technology compares one frame to the next and intelligently removes any tiny specs in each frame that do not match; this greatly increasing the video quality in poor lighting conditions. Not only is a higher quality image produced, but DNR also reduces the video file size resulting in more days of video storage on the DVRs hard drive. This feature is found in only the highest quality cameras.
This camera is equipped with a manual zoom 2.8-12mm lens. The manual zoom lens allows you to mount the camera and then, using the zoom knob on the camera, adjust or “zoom” the viewing area in or out until you get the perfect view. The green lens chart below indicates viewing distances associated with this lens.
This camera is equipped with Infrared LED’s. The LED’s cast out infrared light the human eye cannot see, but the camera can. During the day the camera produces vivid color video, when the light level drops below a minimum point the camera automatically switches the IR system on. The camera then produces very high quality black and white night vision video.
CVI stands for Composite Video Interface and HD stands for High Definition. This is a new technology that provides a low cost method of transmitting quality video signals. CVI breaks the resolution limits of the CCTV technology and allows for HD high definition video to be transmitted over coax cable.
