Acoem-Mic Gunshot Detection

Item: Acoem-Mic
Acoem Acoustic Threat Detection System

Detects and identifies gun shots, vehicle accidents and explosions 500 feet in any direction (75,000 square foot coverage). Each can be programmed with a different automated response. Compact and lightweight, ACOEM Gunshot microphones are easy to install and integrate seamlessly with video management systems (VMS) in public and private spaces.”

Acoem Acoustic Threat Detection detects, localizes, raises an alarm and communicates with security cameras, automatically directing them to the precise location of the threat

Combat-Proven Technology

Acoen threat surveillance and detection solutions have earned the trust of soldiers in the toughest military operations around the world. That same technology forms the foundation of our threat detection system for civilian applications – helping protect urban citizens from common threats and giving law enforcement agencies a new perspective on making their cities safer.

Flexible Design & Operation

Acoustic Treat Detection modules are compact and lightweight, making them easier to install in public spaces. Within a matter of hours, individual monitoring devices or a network of modules can be installed and connected to a central communication network. They can be mounted on fixed street furniture (light poles, benches) or exterior surfaces like billboards or building facades. Units have low power consumption and can operate via battery or solar, or be hard wired. Their flexibility and affordability make moving them to different locations an ideal solution for special events, one-off surveillance projects and roadshow activities.

Added Protection Where Its Needed

In addition to city streets, Acoustic Threat Detection modules can be used outside individual buildings and venues where threat detection is required: • Stadiums • Music arenas • Educational institutions • Airports • Transport hubs + parking garages • Houses of worship • High security buildings • Government agencies • Utilities + nuclear facilities.

Real-Time Data & User-Friendly Interface

Data from Acoustic Threat Detection modules is processed and transmitted in real time to a command center or individual enabled devices as required. Information is highly localized giving users the ability to send automatic alerts. The interface is intuitively designed and easy to use, with precise mapping coordinates, correlated video and detailed descriptions of the anomaly available on a single screen.

Acoustic signals use automatic algorithms to distinguish the source and type of disturbance, identify the risk – gunshot, explosion, screaming, vehicle accident, crowd stampede, etc. Users can also filter the functionality and control the types of acoustic incidents they do and do not wish to monitor. For example, at an outdoor concert, the sound of fireworks might be filtered out and removed from the alert regimen.
