This white pre-made 50 foot network cable makes installing a security camera a breeze. Designed for the outdoors, the cable can withstand the elements. No cutting, stripping or hassling with fittings, just plug and play, it doesn't get any easier.
This 50ft Network White Cable is made for outdoor use, no conduit needed. Ideal for permanent outdoor network runs. The individual conductors are 22 AWG (American wire gauge) solid pure copper. The cable exceeds the EIA/TIA-568-C standards.
The cable is made out of quality materials and meets all UL requirements for CAT6e data transmission. The cable houses four pair(s) of twisted two conductors (8 strands total). The outdoor rated PVC jacket is deigned to protect against the suns UV rays, weather and extreme temperature changes.
This cable is outdoor rated but not designed to buried in the ground without some level of protection such as PVC conduit.
This cable can be used with PoE cameras and transmitters. PoE stands for "Power over Ethernet". PoE combines power and data transmission into one cable - eliminating the need for additional, unnecessary power cable runs to security cameras. PoE does have some distance limitations based on the power draw of the cameras being used. As a guide you should not use PoE for cable distances past 300 feet.
