Quick Overview

Remote Video Surveillance & Gunshot Detection System

Designed to mount to a pole or building and all that is needed is constant power. The system monitors a 500 foot radius (75,000 square feet) for gunshots and automatically controls the PTZ long range camera to the exact shot location while transmitting the data to authorities for response. The system can stream details of the event to multiple smart phones as well as a Cyber Secure video recorder (which is sold separately).

This system uses a cellular data plan to transmit alerts and provide remote viewing access. The data plan is provided by the customer using either T-Mobile or AT&T. Average monthly data costs range $50-80/month. The kit includes all the equipment and parts for the on-site installation. This system is supported with our lifetime free technical support and 5 year warranty.

Customer Reviews

The Acoem-Cell System is a standalone 24 hour video & audio surveillance system designed to be installed at remote locations with a constant 110v power source. The system consists of the outdoor NEMA III temperature controlled control, the Acoem Microphone and the Cyber-Secure pan-tilt-zoom long range camera with auto tracking.

Remote users can access the system with a smart phone or internet connected computer. Live video viewing and audio monitoring by multiple users is supported, as well as manual control of the PTZ camera and playback of the onboard video recordings.

The system can detect the audio signature of 99% of all firearms and can immediately detect a shot, identify the type of firearm that was used and pinpoint the location of where the shot originated. It will then automatically control the pan-tilt-zoom camera to view the location of where the shot originated. The camera, using its built-in motion tracking system, can follow a shooter live and help track the individual for the authorities.

While the system is constantly listening for gunshots, the PTZ camera is free to automatically run custom tours - panning, tilting and zooming to preset locations for general video surveillance.

The camera is equipped with on-board memory which allows video/audio events to be stored in the camera and are available on demand. The camera can also transmit motion activated events to a Cyber-Secure NVR for monitoring and additional recording.

Industry News & Events

Banned Security Brands
US government banned the use of Dahua, Lorex, Hikvision and other security cameras in federal facilities due to hidden backdoors. In June 2021, the FCC unanimously voted to start procedures to ban the sale of these brands to the general public by denying new products FCC approval.

What is NDAA & Why It Matters
The NDAA law banned the use of electronic equipment provided by specific companies. What’s interesting about the law is that it bans companies rather than countries. It ignores borders and focuses on individual entities.
