This hard drive expansion unit allows you to add up to (4) 10TB hard drives to the unit and then connect the unit to a ProVue NVR using the eSATA port on the NVR. This allows you to expand the total storage capability of any ProVue NVR. No confusing programming, simply install the hard drives into the unit and connect it to the NVR using the eSATA data port on the NVR. Then log into the NVR and place a checkmark next to the drives under "storage" to enable the NVR to record to the added devices.
