The Scout - Solar Surveillance Trailer

The Scout is an effective low-cost alternative to fully equipped Active Response Surveillance Trailers. The unit is self-contained and offers all the basic requirements of mobile surveillance. The unit can be deployed almost anywhere in less than 10 minutes. The system puts live eyes on a problem location 24 hours a day without putting anyone in harm’s way. The system never sleeps, takes a break or calls in sick.

● Effective Coverage Area

The Scout is equipped with (2) Mid-range PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras and (1) Long-range PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) camera providing an effective surveillance area up to 500ft around the trailer. The cameras are equipped with advanced AI, allowing them to detect the human form and motorized and non-motorized vehicle profiles with 99% accuracy.




● Deployment

The Scout offers the quickest deployment of any mobile surveillance trailer. • Pick the trailer location. • Level the unit with the drop-down levelers. • Deploy the 23ft telescoping mast. • Turn the power on. After a 2-minute start-up, the system will record, and the live video will be accessible on smartphones and remote computers.

Solar-Guard & Scout - User Access

Both systems allow access from anywhere you have cell service or the internet. You can view live video from multiple cameras and perform multi-camera video playback on demand using your smartphone or PC. Multiple users can be granted access to the system. Each user is given their own login credentials and can be limited to selected cameras and what features they can use.

ALL Operational Costs Included

Unlimited data, health monitoring, power management, customer support, software & firmware updates, vandalism insurance, as well as unlimited remote access with PCs, smartphones, and Apple products are included in the monthly. There are no other costs of rental or operation. Delivery & Setup setup are included in the monthly fee.

Program Details

• Minimum of 12 months rental. Rental is billed monthly in advance.
• At the end of 24 months of rental, with all payments received, ownership of the unit is transferred to the customer.
• The unit will be covered with a 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty when ownership is transferred to the customer.
• With ownership, the only costs of operation will be the monthly data service and optional live monitoring.
• If a rental payment becomes 45 days past due, the agreement is terminated, and the unit is removed with no ownership.
• By placing an order, you are agreeing to the Rent-to-Own terms and conditions

Service & Repair

If the unit is damaged due to vandalism or experiences a system failure, Backstreet Surveillance will, at its sole expense, repair or replace the affected equipment or components.

In the event of a service interruption resulting in the unit being non-functional, the customer will receive a service credit. The credit will be calculated by dividing the monthly rental rate by thirty (30) days to determine a daily rate, which will then be applied to each full day the system is not operational.
