Sentry-Pro Surveillance Trailer - Rental Terms & Limits of Liability
Sentry-Pro Rental - Service Terms
Rental Service
Our rental program is considered a service. We provide live crime deterrence and monitored dispatch services, as the customer conveys, similar to a physical security guard service. The trailer is a required part of this service. The customer is not responsible for the physical items needed to provide this service. If the trailer is damaged due to vandalism or any system failure occurs, Backstreet is responsible for repairing or replacing the item or part at no cost to the customer. A credit to the account will be issued if the service is interrupted. The credit will be based on the rental monthly cost divided by 30 days which provides the daily rental cost. This daily cost will be credited for the days the system was not functional.
Moving the Trailer
The customer can be trained on moving the trailer as needed. The process requires the tilt-up mast and camera assembly to be returned to the transportation position. If damage to the mast or any part of the trailer occurs due to moving the trailer without dropping the mast and removing the camera assembly, the customer will be responsible for the repair costs.
Active Deterrence – Self Protection System
The trailer has an active self-defense system that riggers if the human form comes too close or comes in contact with the trailer. If the customer instructs us to turn off this system and damage occurs to the trailer, the customer will be responsible for repair costs.
Deposit
The initial payment totaling the first month's rent and delivery fee is required before scheduling delivery. Payments can be made with a credit card, check, ACH, or bank wire. Purchase orders are accepted from local, state, and federal government agencies. After the initial month, the monthly rental fee will be billed in advance every month until the term of the rental is complete.
Limits of Liability
Mobile surveillance trailers rely on many different electronic devices and remote human services. Backstreet will provide best efforts to respond to events; however, if damage to customer property, theft of assets, or bodily harm occurs during the rental term, Backstreet Surveillance nor the monitoring service will be held liable for damages, losses, or costs due to bodily harm. If any aspect of the service is found to be liable for damages under any and all circumstances, the maximum dollar amount of liability is limited to the total of (3) months rental fee. The customer(s) or renter(s) is responsible for maintaining proper insurance to cover any losses or liability costs to their property during the rental period.
Rental Term
Early termination of the agreement will require a disposal fee equaling the amount of the total unpaid monthly rental fee left on the agreed-upon term of the rental.
