6 - System Components
All systems consist of:
- - An imaging device (Camera)
- - A signal transmission technology (Cat5-Cat6 Network Cable or WiFi Wireless Connection)
- - A recording device (NVR or DVR)
- - A power source (PoE - Power Over Ethernet)
- - A display device (Monitor or TV).
While the configuration from one application to another will vary considerably, it is always some combination of these primary components.
