Product Overview
Ideal Protection for Data Center/Network Rackmount Equipment with Advanced AVR
The SMART2200RMXL2U provides advanced automatic voltage regulation, reliable battery backup and comprehensive power management capability in just 2U of rack space. With 8 outlets (4 x 5-15R, 4 x 5-15/20R) and USB/DB9 ports, the SMART2200RMXL2U is a complete power protection solution for protection for servers, storage devices and telecom equipment.
Advanced AVR protects connected equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems that can be caused by brownouts (low-voltage conditions) and overvoltages. The SMART2200RMXL2U corrects brownouts as low as 83V and overvoltages as high as 145V to a nominal 120V, providing safe computer-grade power to all connected components without consuming backup battery power needed to support equipment through blackouts.

Reliable, Expandable Battery Backup with Advanced AVR and Controllable Load Banks
UPS battery backup keeps connected equipment operational through short power failures, and provides time to save data and perform an orderly system shutdown in case of a prolonged blackout. The SMART2200RMXL2U's large internal battery provides 12 min. for a half-load (960 watts) and 4.5 min. of battery support for a full load (1920 watts). During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the UPS battery fully charged so that backup power will always be available if needed. For mission-critical applications demanding continuous uptime, the fully scalable SMART2200RMXL2U can provide expandable runtime with optional external battery packs (Tripp Lite model BP48V24-2U; BP48V60RT-3U; BP48V27-2US), sold separately.
The SMART2200RMXL2U includes an integrated switched PDU with two individually controllable single-outlet load banks via a software interface for remote reboot of locked-up equipment or load shedding to maximize battery backup time for mission-critical equipment.

Included PowerAlert Software, SNMP Capability and More
The SMART2200RMXL2U contains a USB port and a DB9 port (cables included). When used with Tripp Lite's included PowerAlert software, these communication ports give users comprehensive network power monitoring and control. Capabilities include UPS and line power status messaging (on battery, low-battery, power restored, AC line voltage, DC battery voltage and remaining battery capacity), timed inverter shutoff after unattended shutdown, and UPS output power control for delayed or immediate reboot of connected devices. The SMART2200RMXL2U also accepts an optional SNMPWEBCARD accessory that enables the UPS to operate as a managed device on the network.
A front-panel LCD screen allows IT personnel to monitor operating mode and pertinent data such as load percentages, power factor, input and output volts, battery charge and estimated runtimes. An audible alarm sounds in case of power-failure, low-battery, overload and fault conditions.

Highly Efficient Operation, Versatile Installation Options 2-Year Warranty and $250K of Insurance
The SMART2200RMXL2U features high-efficiency operation—up to 95%—that can significantly reduce a facility's energy costs by minimizing heat output, lowering cooling requirements and reducing the consumption of electricity. The SMART2200RMXL2U requires only 2U of rack space in a standard 4-post rack enclosure (mounting accessories included). It can also be installed in a 2-post rack using the optional 2POSTRMKITWM accessory, or in an upright tower configuration with the optional 2-9USTAND accessory.
The SMART2200RMXL2U comes backed by a 2-year warranty (3-year with registration) and $250,000 of Ultimate Lifetime Insurance. As part of Tripp Lite's commitment to environmental responsibility, it is manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications.
