4 Megapixel HD Night Vision Outdoor IP Manual Zoom Security Camera
This HD camera offers clear 4 megapixel clarity! The housing meets IP66 standards ensuring excellent performance in extreme outdoor weather conditions. The camera produces a large HD video format (2464 x 1632 pixels), great for facial recognition. The integrated manual zoom lens allows you to adjust the field of view perfectly. The WDR feature provides excellent back-lighting compensation. The camera also features a 120 foot night vision system and PoE (Power over Ethernet; which allows the camera to transmit video and receive power through one network cable). Clearly one of the best performers on the market.

Viewing Distance
This camera is equipped with a manual zoom 2.8-12mm lens. The manual zoom lens allows you to mount the camera and then, using the zoom knob on the camera, adjust or “zoom” the viewing area in or out until you get the perfect view. The green lens chart below indicates viewing distances associated with this lens.
Night Vision
This camera is equipped with Infrared LED’s. The LED’s cast out infrared light the human eye cannot see, but the camera can. During the day the camera produces vivid color video, when the light level drops below a minimum point the camera automatically switches the IR system on. The camera then produces very high quality black and white night vision video.PoE & Power Supply
This camera is normally powered by directly connecting the Cat5 cable from the camera to a PoE unit (power over ethernet). The PoE is then connected to a router, modem or network port. The Cat 5 cable provides both video transmission to the NVR or cloud while delivering power to the camera. We offer PoE units that will support 1, 4, 8, or 16 cameras See PoE Units.
WDR - Wide Dynamic Range
Wide dynamic range is a feature built into this camera that handles a wide range of lighting conditions. In a scene with extremely bright and dark areas or in back-light situations where a person is in front of a bright window, a typical camera would produce an image where objects in the dark areas would hardly be visible. WDR solves this by applying various techniques to enable objects in both bright and dark areas to be visible. This feature is essential if the camera is going to be used for license plate capture.Capturing License Plates
