Cyber-Secure NVR Recording Playback

Here on the Cyber Secure NVR, we're going to be playing back a recorded video. On the live view screen, right-click and select playback to get to that option. Once you're on this page, you can select a camera here on the left-hand side. It will show a highlighted red triangle on the days that have recordings. The days that don't have that red triangle will not have any recordings with that camera. Once you click on a day, this bar at the bottom should fill out. The legend here tells you that blue is a normal continuous 24/7 recording. The red is a motion event. So if we click here, it'll start playing, and it'll play the motion event that we're currently selected.

If we decrease the size of the bar down here, those red blocks will get larger and easier to click on. If you hover your mouse over the bar, you'll see a preview of what's happening in that section. Right now we can see the time playing, as well as the time playing up here. You've got some options here while you're on playback. You can rewind it by 30 seconds. That's a skip option. You can choose the interval in which you skip it too. So if you have to look through 24/7 recordings and you have to look through 24 hours, you might want to skip an hour at a time or 15 minutes at a time, depending on what you need. And that skip option applies to the rewind and the forward skip.

There's a reverse, which is a rewind. You've got to stop, which will close the video from this camera and let you select a different camera. Pause, it will pause the video if you need to. Then as you're playing it, it will play at a one-time speed. You can decrease it to 1.8 speed, which is a slow motion function, or you can increase it to 16 times speed. Now if you increase it, you just speed down till you get to one time. One time is a normal playback. And then if you pause the video, you've also got a forward-by-frame, which will advance the video one frame at a time.
